PAC July 2026

July is here and summer is in full swing! To kick off the season, we are thrilled to announce a complete Life Fitness Cardio Refresh for the Physical Activities Center (PAC).

  • Cardio Equipment Refresh Schedule:
    • Monday, 20 July - Tuesday, 21 July: Removal of all old cardio equipment from the cardio room, spin room, and running track.
    • Wednesday, 22 July - Thursday, 23 July: Installation and setup of brand-new, state-of-the-art ellipticals, treadmills, and stair climbers.
    • Friday, 24 July: Delivery of new stair-climbing machines to the Mark Center and Taylor Building.

We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation during this brief transition as we work hard to elevate your training experience.

PAC Facility Etiquette:  With the summer heat bringing more of our community indoors, we want to share a few friendly reminders to keep our shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

  • Sauna and Steam Room Rules:
    • No electronics: Do not bring cell phones or other electronic devices inside.
    • No workouts: Refrain from exercising or wearing dirty workout shoes in these rooms.
    • Hygiene and safety: Shaving is strictly prohibited. Do not dry clothes on the sauna rocks (fire hazard) or wring out wet towels inside the rooms.

  • Locker Room Courtesy:
    • No overnight storage: Daily-use lockers must be cleared every day; locks will be cut and items removed if left overnight.
    • Keep benches clear: Use lockers to store bags and personal belongings so seating remains open for members.

  • Weight Room Etiquette:
    • No saving machines: Do not leave phones, CACs, or clothing on vacant equipment to reserve it.
    • Share the space: Step away from machines if you are checking your mobile device to let others cycle through sets.

Critical Towel Shortage:  We are currently facing a major towel shortage due to many going missing. Because of budget limitations, we may have to stop offering towel service if this continues. You can help us keep this amenity by returning your towels to the bins around the facility after your workout. Please keep towels in the PAC!

It is an excellent time to be at the PAC, and we ask that you remain considerate of your fellow members to ensure a positive experience for everyone. We look forward to seeing you soon. Stay cool!
